Beware of New Scams Targeting Seniors

Approaching the elderly as if you were a district office worker

"I'm a district office worker. I called to give you some rice. Why aren't you answering?"

He allegedly made people believe he was a district office worker by saying, "I'll go into your house and talk to you."

And after going into the old woman's house like this, he asked for a cup of coffee.

Then he stole the woman's wallet and ran away while she went to get coffee.

It seems like they took advantage of the fact that the elderly trust public officials, such as district office workers.

Beware of these scams!
